Here is a step by step guide for placing an order for either Bakery Pickup or Centralized Distribution Point (CDP). If you have ordered from our site before for Bakery Pickup, you can click on the “Our Shop” link at the top, and it will take you directly to the store for ordering. You may want to catch up near the end when we go to the cart.
Click the Our Shop Button…
And you go right to the shopping page:
If you are new to ordering online, or want to have a refresher on ordering., depending on if you want to come down to the bakery to pick it up, or have it brought to one of our Centralized Distribution Points (CDP), you can get more information on each option. To pick up your items at the bakery you will click on the link for Bakery Pickup Info:
This will take you to the page telling you about the bakery, how to contact us, and our hours. If you scroll down there is a button that will take you to the Our Shop page:
And you will arrive here:
Now, if you are looking for information on CDPs, click on the CDP Info link at the top of the page:
This will lead you to our CDP Info page:
As you scroll down, on the left is information on what CDPs are and where we have them. On the right, is a schedule 5 months into the future of where we will be. We will be putting 3 months ahead on this screen for your planning.
If you are interested in having items delivered to our Salem CDP location at Diabetes Support Services, there is the basic information there on how it works for Salem.
There is important information regarding the CDP process, this information applies to Salem also. At the bottom there is a button “To Order for A CDP”, click on this for PORTLAND CDPs only! If you want the Salem CDP, fill out the form below and you will be contacted by the Wednesday before going to Salem.
Now, you will be at the Our Shop page.
Once you get into the Our Shop page, the experience will be the same until we get to checking out so order your favorite items, then click on the cart at the top of the page:
Once you click on the cart, you see everything in your cart on the left. On the right, is an information box called Cart totals. If it is showing a CDP: $10.00 charge, no need to worry, that will go away soon.
At the bottom, there is a button labeled “Proceed to checkout”, when you click on this button you will then need to decide if you are Picking Up from the Bakery, or using one of the CDPs.
Now we are on the Checkout Details screen:
Scroll down and the first thing you need to do is decide is if you are doing a BAKERY PICKUP or a CDP. The current choice is showing as a BLACK BUTTON with WHITE PRINTING.
This is for the BAKERY PICKUP:
You will see this green box with Bakery Pickup and more info:
This is for the CDPs:
There are 2 things to pay attention to on the CDP screen:
First, the green box:
And this Drop Down Menu:
Remember, making sure of your dates are important with CDPs. If you are expecting it to be in Beaverton and that week is Gresham, we will both be disappointed. To help to assure that will not happen, we do confirm dates when orders come in. You will also now start receiving a confirmation email of the order being placed!
For the CDPs, you will now get the information entered previously into the boxes on the page. With CDPs, this is the place for you to confirm you are ordering for the right location. First, choose the date:
Make sure it matches to the CDP and date you want:
Select a time slot. This will help us to know when to look for you also:
Scroll down and fill out the information:
On the left is a recap of your order, then showing the subtotal, the CDP and bag fees, and total:
Then from here, you can enter your payment information. Fill that out, then click on the box that you have read and agree to the website Terms and Conditions. Then you will click on the Place Order button:
This takes you to the confirmation screen.
If you are ordering for BAKERY PICKUP, you will still need to choose a date and a time.
To Chose Bakery Pickup:
Then chose the date and time you want to pick up!
This is your order recap….
Enter your Credit Card information and checkmark the box saying you agree to the terms and conditions
Once you click the Place Order button, you will be taken to the confirmation page, then you should receive an email with what you ordered, date and time for pick up and the order number.
Then just show up at the bakery, come on in and give us your name and we’ll grab your order and you will be on your way. You can always purchase additional items if you would like also!
