To Our Customers,
There has been a lot of good news on the COVID-19 front; Close to 50% of Oregonians have been vaccinated, better than the US average of 36%, the positive test rates are starting to go down, and the Centers for Disease Control have said masks do not have to be warn for people who are fully vaccinated. All good news! Now the bad news. First, Oregon OSHA (OrOSHA) has not revised their guidance to employers on masking for employees, so all employees are still to be masked while working. Second, the State of Oregon is wanting the businesses to be the gatekeeper of who can enter a business with or without a mask.
I will say this – as a business, Sin-able Sweets will not ask to see your vaccination card. Masks MUST still be worn when you enter Sin-able Sweets. If you want to enter into the bakery without a mask, it is going to be YOUR responsibility to show your card as you enter the business, and each time you enter the business.
I am just as anxious as everyone else about moving forward and not having to wear a mask. While I am fully vaccinated, when I go into any store, I am still putting on my mask as a courtesy to the employees and other patrons.
Sin-able Sweets will continue to update our policies on masks and social distancing until we have gotten past the pandemic.
