September 2020 Sin-able Sweets Business Change Update!

Greetings everyone. It is the beginning of September, and things are much different than they were in March.  First, we hope everyone has been healthy and safe.  When we realized back in March that Coronavirus/COVID-19 was going to disrupt all of our lives, we went into overdrive to make sure we could still get our dietetic items to anyone who wanted them.  While we continued to do our CDPs every month, we really pushed our web developer to get our new website up and running so we could begin online ordering.  That’s been up and running for a few months, and Dan has taken over as our web developer and is consistently making improvements on the website almost daily at times. We will continue to take advanced orders online, but sadly we won’t have the curbside pickup any longer as the city hasn’t approved the spaces in front of the bakery once we reopen. While we’re sad to see that go, you can always give us a call from outside the bakery and we’ll bring your order out on the cart like we’ve been doing for curbside service.  You just go to www.sin-ablesweets.com, click on Preorder, and you can order anything there for pickup on Friday or Saturday.  For the time being, we’re only going to be open on Friday and Saturdays. 

We have a few exciting new changes that have happened over the last few months. First, we’ve gotten some new equipment installed from additional freezers (which we always need) to new turbo ovens. These new ovens are baking items in about 2/3rds the time of the old ones.

Second, we’re VERY PROUD to introduce our new SOFT SERVE product. We wanted to have a no sugar added (NSA) soft serve since we opened, but we’ve never found anything with the quality, selection, and simply FLAVOR that we insist on for our products. Well, the search is over! When Dan had a bite of the Italian Vanilla, he said “Now that’s exactly how I remember full-sugar ice cream tasting”. And remember, Dan hasn’t had sugared products in over 15 years! We will have flavors of “ice cream” Gelato, and Sorbet that are ALL NSA, and many are even Vegan! We will have samples available on the 11th and 12th to try. Please understand that for the time being, we will only be selling our soft serve in pints, but we will be working to sell pre-made sundaes in the coming months.
